Job Details

A fantastic opportunity for a part or nearly-qualified non-life actuary to join a well-known multinational, as a Pricing Actuary. The Pricing Actuary will work across personal and commercial lines pricing and will be responsible for the pricing of SME’s. Our client is known for their excellent benefits and flexible working policy. This position would suit somebody who is highly numerate with high commercial acumen.

About the Role

The successful candidate will join a team of 9 individuals and will report to the Chief Pricing Actuary. The position is based in Dublin, although naturally, everyone is working from home at the moment. The pricing team are changing their current pricing structure, so it is a very interesting time to join.

Duties for the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for pricing of SME’s
  • Provide pricing recommendations
  • Communicate and work with various teams and stakeholders across the business
  • Varied pricing projects that arise throughout the year

Actuarial Skills Required

This position would suit a part or nearly qualified actuary with previous non-life insurance experience. Our client is flexible on their requirements as for them it is more about the confidence of the individual. Suitable candidates for this role should have:

  • Strong modelling and IT capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
