Job Details

A global legacy insurance company is seeking a part-qualified actuary to join their risk and capital team in London.

Due to their ongoing growth, this team is growing and this position will support the CRO and Senior Risk Manager in a range of functions.  This includes production and enhancement of the ORSA, capital validation, stress and scenario testing, development of risk reports and development of new risk policies.

There will also be project work which will assist with new acquisitions and further development of the company's risk environment.

This organisation values the actuarial skill set within the ERM setting and this role is an excellent opportunity to retain quantitative duties whilst taking on new qualitative risk management tasks.

Ideally you will be making your way through the actuarial exams and have worked in a non-life insurance business.  Experience in a risk management team would be advantageous but work in capital, reserving or pricing with a keen interest in enterprise risk management is also highly thought of.

Company

Actuaries have some of the brightest minds on the planet. Their ability to calculate risk and future events gives them a unique skill set which is in high demand by employers.

The Actuarial desk at Arthur Recruitment connects Actuaries to their future employers. We are building our network within The UK Insurance Market and will be emailing market news, jobs and interviews with some of the leading actuaries in the market.
