Job Details
If you are a part-qualified GI actuary with a sound understanding of reserving and pricing analysis and principles then Star Actuarial has just the role for you.
This role with a major employer is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to play a key role in the evaluation of reserves and monitoring of claims trends, using a number of appropriate actuarial and statistical methods of analysis.
You will also support the monitoring and analysis of performance of the company’s commercial accounts, assessing profitability of individual schemes and suggesting pricing changes to improve performance.
In addition, you will produce analysis of Claims performance, identifying trends and features, producing claims projection models.
With commercial lines experience and technical skills to include SAS, R or Python, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
