Reserving Actuarial Contractor

HFG have partnered with a UK leading insurer to assist with their search for a new Reserving Actuary to join their team for 6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified actuary to join a team which will offer them a wide range of exposure.

Key responsibilities

  • Undertaking a quarterly cycle of reserve assessment, which includes IFRS, Solvency II, and Technical Provision assessment.
  • Enhance the accuracy, controls and governance of the reserving analysis.
  • Managing and reviewing actuarial analysts work while providing timely performance feedback.
    • Key requirements

  • Qualified experienced Actuary
  • At least 5 years of London Market general insurance experience
  • Experience managing at least 2 direct reports.
