Job Details

Fairbank Partners are working with a leading Syndicate to source a Part/Nearly Qualified Actuary to join on a 2 year fixed term contract basis in their IFRS 17 project team. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are immediately available and who want to be in a long contract.

The opportunity: 

  • Play a key role in the development and testing of IFRS 17 financial reporting solutions for the Syndicate
  • Liaise with various departments across the business such as Finance and IT
  • Contribute to wider actuarial reserving and reporting tasks from time to time

The individual:

  • General Insurance actuarial background - SII experience is advantageous 
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well to deadlines
