Actuarial Associate, Reserving

Fairbank Partners are working with a leading insurer to source a Part Qualified Actuary to join their team. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain both reserving and capital modeling experience.

The opportunity:

• Contribute to the development of the reserving function
• Undertake and review market level projections for a number of classes of business
• Work collaboratively with the Capital Modeling team on the modeling of the reserve risk
• Undertake parameterisation and running of the companies internal capital model
• Gain insight into the Lloyds Market
• Lead junior members of the team on the projects and pieces of work involved in

The individual:

• Part Qualified Actuary with a good track record of passing actuarial exams
• Experience in non-life insurance work, preferably across reserving and capital modeling
• Excellent communicator
• Knowledge of reserving tools including ResQ or similar.
