Consulting Actuary

Fairbank Partners are working with a growing consultancy to find a Nearly/ Newly Qualified actuary to join them in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity to move into a client facing role and exercise your communication skills whilst advising some of the biggest financial companies in the market.

The role

• Provide advice and resolutions to issues presented by clients through your actuarial knowledge and understanding
• Providing management to junior members of staff
• Work with traditional actuarial systems and provide innovative solutions to any issues with the current methodology
• Be involved in the bringing in of new business and liaising with potential clients

The person

• A Nearly/ Newly Qualified actuary with at least 2 years in the Life insurance industry
• If Nearly/ Newly applicant you must have good progression through the actuarial exams
• Strong communication and verbal reasoning skills
• The ability to work with excel
