Interim Senior Analysis and Consolidation Actuary

Fairbank Partners are working with a Life Insurer to find a Senior Analysis Actuary for an initial 6 months.  

The Senior Analysis Actuary will report into the Head of Consolidation and Analysis, and will ensure that reporting results are explained clearly and unexplained items are escalated appropriately. They will liaise with the Accounting Operations and Actuarial Operations teams, and key stakeholders in the Chief Actuary function to provide appropriate actuarial review and analysis of the quarterly reporting process on behalf of the Head of Consolidation and Analysis.

This is a strategic role with ownership of the actuarial review capabilities required to deliver the insurer's financial reporting objectives, as well as taking a leading role in projects affecting the Consolidation and Analysis team (e.g. integration of acquisitions, new reporting metrics). The role holder will need a good understanding of the Group business model and financials.

The Senior Review Actuary will also play a key role in developing the culture and operating model of the Consolidation and Analysis team, and championing collaborative ways of working with the Finance and Chief Actuary teams to deliver best in class financial reporting.

Experience 

• Expected 5-7 years post FIA qualification experience.
• Experience of managing a team.
• Proven track record of delivering financial reporting results
• Extensive experience in financial reporting.
