Job Details

An excellent opportunity for a non-life pricing actuary to join a growing commercial pricing team. The pricing team are based in the IFSC in Dublin but are responsible for supporting the commercial pricing work for teams in London and other parts of Europe. This role involves commercial pricing for commercial lines that include casualty, property, and financial lines. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2 – 3 years non-life commercial pricing experience to work with senior managers. The organisation plan to expand their pricing team in Dublin and this is a new pricing position.

Some duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in providing actuarial support to profit centres
  • Work with the underwriting teams to provide advice and factual data driven analysis
  • Deliver training and support for rating tools and portfolio strategies 
    The development of pricing tools
  • Liaise with local management to identify business and development opportunities

Suitable candidates for this role must have: 

  • An actuarial degree or a degree in a related discipline
  • At least three years commercial pricing experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • VBA, Excel, Access, SAS, SQL or other programming Capabilities
