HFG have partnered with a leading Lloyd's Syndicate, to assist with their search for a Property Claims Adjuster, focusing predominantly on D&F. 

Main Responsibilities:

- Proactively adjusting Property claims within authority levels in accordance with the Claims Principles and Claims Practice and Procedures, delivering performance to the very highest level of client service for our policyholders.
- Working closely in collaboration with underwriting team and other departments.
- Provide a technical referral point for clients and brokers, including face to face negotiations, with sufficient experience and expertise to handle a variety of Property claims.
- Other first party claims experience would be an advantage.
- Involvement with regular claims reporting, internal financial reporting meetings and claims data analysis.
- ECF processing (Lloyd`s) & overseas offices claims entries.
- Instructing and proactively overseeing lawyers, adjusters and experts from agreed panel, and managing expert spend.
- Demonstrate within a short time an ability to understand and enact the Claims Principles as part of the day to day role. 

Skills and Experience:

- Proven 5 years or more Property lead claims experience.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), networking and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of coverages, benefits and exclusions in global jurisdictions.
- Understanding and application of legal and regulatory issues relating to policy wordings.

- Proven data/analytical experience.
- Professional exams (or progress towards) and willingness towards further professional development.
- Proactive, self-motivated, team player, solutions orientated, analytically minded, pro-technology/innovation, flexible and change friendly.
