Job Details

A top ten Lloyd's/London market insurance business is seeking a data scientist/insight analyst to join their business insight function.

Part of a core analytics team, you will be part of group data projects and ensuring that departments create the right technical solutions for their teams.  You will analyse large data sets and produce accurate visualisation; as well as automating as many processes as possible.

You will help introduce machine learning to the organisation further and have a keen interest in data science and new technologies.  This is all designed to help this organisation to get more from their data, both in terms of external profitability but also internal efficiencies.

Good knowledge of R or Python is needed in this role, as is ability with tools such as SQL or equivalent.  You could be studying the actuarial exams and if so, full support will be on offer to finish those.  However, there will also be support for alternative qualifications such as machine learning or data science courses.
