Financial Lines Pricing Actuary

Fairbank Partners are currently working with a Lloyd's syndicate to find a nearly/newly qualified Pricing Actuary to work within the Financial Lines team.

Financial Lines Pricing Actuary is expected to have sound technical knowledge and be able to communicate with confidence and clarity. The role holder is expected to demonstrate critical thinking and take ownership for the responsibilities of the role.

The Role:

• Case Pricing of large individual risks;
• Annual Portfolio Reviews;
• Loss Ratios for Business Planning purposes;
• Premium Risk Parameterization for the capital model;
• Rate Change Monitoring.

The Candidate:

• Qualified Actuary
• Good technical and IT knowledge
• Ability to present with confidence to internal and external stakeholders
• Good data handling
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
