Internal Model Senior Actuary

Fairbank Partners are assisting a specialist life insurer in their search for a Senior Actuary to join their Internal Modelling team.  

The Role

• Supporting the Head of Internal Model in developing the methodology used to calculate the Group’s regulatory capital requirement.
• Acting as an SME for the groups Internal Model strategy and working with the Head of Internal Model to implement change projects for the IM.
• Ensuring the methodology in the IM remains compliant with regulatory requirements and best practice for managing the business.

The Candidate

• FIA Qualified Actuary
• Experience in life insurance with recent experience in capital management or Internal Model
• Understanding of life insurer and Solvency II requirements for base balance sheets and capital requirement.
