Job Details
Our client a Lloyd’s of London syndicate are seeking a graduate with a strong numerical background, who has experience of working with Python, R, SQL.
The successful candidate will be working within the Actuarial Pricing Team, and will fulfil the following functions:
- Liaising, and supporting the underwriting team
- Building of pricing models
- Statistical analysis
- Analysis of business opportunities
- Assessing outwards reinsurance pricing
This role will be supporting the pricing team in leveraging data from a variety of sources to enhance pricing and portfolio analytics.
Key responsibilities:
- Monthly pricing MI
- Design, and build pricing analytics and reporting capabilities
- Supporting the exploration of pricing data so that it is available for modelling by the Pricing Actuaries
- Present and share knowledge with the wider Actuarial team
Education, and skillset required:
- Excel, VBA
- Working knowledge of R, Python, and OR SQL
- Tableau
- Experience of data science or ML
- 2.1 or above in a Mathematical or numerical background
- Strong A-Levels
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, uses initiative
