Life Risk Manager
Brilliant opportunity for a qualified technical life actuary to take up a Life Risk management position in a multinational company based in Dublin city centre. It is an exciting time to join the company as it goes through a period of change. The role will see the successful candidate working closely with senior management and team of capable colleagues. The focus of the role will be to project manage part of the development of the company’s internal model. The role will also involve leading and guiding some juniors in this work. An ideal opportunity to gain some unique technical experience as well as to develop aspects of your management capability.
The main responsibilities for this actuarial vacancy include but are not limited to:
- Manage workstreams in the life risk are to keep project targets on track
- Supervise the building and testing of models
- Guiding best practises and modelling choices
- Ad-hoc tasks including documentation reviewing
The successful applicant for this Life Risk Manger role should be a Qualified Actuary with experience in the life industry. Detailed knowledge of Solvency II as well as modelling experience are a necessity for this role and candidates should have management or team lead experience. Internal Model development experience is preferred but not a prerequisite for this role.
