Asia Deputy Head, Enterprise Risk (Life Actuarial)

In this newly created position, you a qualified life actuary, will be the face of enterprise risk both internally and externally as you look at risk from a more holistic point of view and propose strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders across the region.

This role will be focused on proactively shaping solutions to make sure that all risks are understood and prudently managed, with the aim of becoming a center of excellence for all LBU's on how to best deal with risk moving forward. You will be advising senior management on all risk matters. This massive exposure across the company and the chance to have unparalleled business impact on strategy moving forward.

They are seeking a candidate with a proven track record driving policy and change, with a proactive approach through conceptual stage instead of just following systems. As the face of enterprise risk to internal and external members this candidate must be a leader, with excellent communication skills to build important partnerships throughout the whole Asia region.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified life actuary with 12+ years of experience. Candidates with no prior risk experience will still be considered, however, you will need to demonstrate a strong business understanding of how a life insurer fits together and put on the risk hat to best strategic risk mitigation.
