Senior Actuarial Pricing Analyst

Fairbank Partners are working on behalf of a general Insurer who are looking for a nearly qualified Pricing Actuary to join their London office to assist in guiding data preparation, performing and reviewing actuarial modelling, and interpreting results when setting pricing rates.

Key responsibilities:

• Production, development, and review of actuarial and statistical pricing analysis of underwriting performance (including Emblem analysis)
• Developing and ensuring production of bespoke and ad hoc actuarial and statistical pricing analysis and other ad-hoc projects
• Assisting in maintaining and upgrading of models, as well as researching, developing and implementing new models
• Using data available and wider insurance business awareness to support the underwriting and claim functions in identifying future investigations

The role will occasionally involve the production and development of technical performance reporting and risk indices, as well as company forecasting and planning analysis.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in an actuarial GI pricing role.Experience of Emblem modelling or SAS would be advantageous.
