Reporting Actuary

A new opportunity has become available within the Reporting team of a global insurer based in Central London. They are looking for a qualified actuary who will be responsible for delivering the financial results while overseeing a small team of students. You will also be involved in a variety of interesting projects and working with a wide product range. Day to day duties include:

• Ensuring the delivery of quarterly financial results
• Building a strong understanding of the portfolio of products in order to make recommendations on how to improve business performance
• Being instrumental in improving the quality and efficiency of the reserving process
• Presenting the UK results to senior stakeholders across the business

In order to be considered, you will be a technically minded actuary with strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex work to stakeholders at all levels. Your background will be in reporting / reserving and you will have extensive experience in the Life Insurance market.
