Annuities Reporting Manager - FTSE 100 Life Insurer - Qualified Actuary

Fairbank Partners are currently assisting a leading UK life insurer with their search for a Qualified Annuities Reporting Manager, focussing on Investments Reporting. 

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of investment-related metrics including SII, interest rate exposure, and for Matching Adjustment portfolios. Further responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and developing systems and methodologies, ensuring risks are managed.
• The setting of long term economic assumptions.
• Preparation of reports and presentation of results to Senior Stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary, with previous experience working within a financial reporting role. A good knowledge of matching adjustments, SII, IFRS and Economic Capital metrics is required, and a knowledge of assets and investments is advantageous. Prior team management experience is necessary.
