Job Details
Our client is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their high calibre team.
This role supports the Actuary and Senior Actuary, ranging from quarterly reserving, capital modelling, liaising with underwriters.
Day to day responsibilities will range from:
Production, monitoring and communication of quarterly reserves on an IFRS and Solvency II basis.
- Insurance risk modelling.
- Statistical analyses of account performance, large case and portfolio analyses.
- Actuarial input into the annual business planning and forecasting.
- Challenging and collaborating with key stakeholders including Portfolio Managers, Claims and Business Finance Managers.
The successful candidate will be provided with a generous actuarial study package, including financial support, study days and mentor.
Desirables:
- General Insurance experience within reserving, pricing or capital modelling
- Life or Pensions backgrounds will be considered
- Minimum of 2:1 or above
- SAS, R, & VBA
