Part or Near Qualified Pensions Actuary - In-House - Insurance - London

Fantastic Opportunity for a Part or Near Qualified Pensions Actuary to join a leading multinational General Insurance Business as In-House Pension Risk Actuary in London. If you're a Pensions Actuary in Consultancy, seeking a truly non traditional role I want to speak to you.

In this role you will support this close knit, but highly visible team, in the day to day management of the corporate activity for the In-house DB Pension Schemes. Ensuring strategy is aligned to the accounting, capital and solvency objectives/regulations

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some unique project areas unheard of in Pensions Consultancy. Areas such as Capital Modelling, Solvency II balance sheet, mitigating market volatility and Investment Strategy.

In this role you will need to be technically astute while also a strong communicator/negotiator. The team are looking for someone who is eager to learn and immerse themselves in an environment offering unrivalled progression internally.

The Person

- Part Qualified or Nearly Qualified Pensions Actuary from UK Pensions Consultancy
- Core Technical Pensions Actuarial skills - funding updates, valuations, accounting disclosures
- Experience working on Corporate client projects
- Willingness to be involved in technical, spreadsheet based work and discussing findings with non actuarial stakeholders
