Job Details
HFG assisting a top Lloyd's market insurer in their search for a new risk focused actuarial analyst. As a team you will contribute to the management of financial risk across the firm whilst helping to integrate the internal model with the rest of the risk management framework.
This is the perfect opportunity for a part qualified actuary from a reserving or capital background to move across into a more business facing position whilst being supported through the remainder of their examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Capital based ORSA work (annually and quarterly)
- Stress & Scenario testing
- Reverse stress testing
- Governance and oversight of internal model
- Management of investment & liquidity risk
- Build and maintain relationships with all relevant departments
Key requirements
- Part qualified actuary (preferably reserving or capital)
- Lloyd's or consulting experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong understanding or risk management principles and solvency II
- Understanding of the Lloyd's market is key
