Head of Transactions - Life

Leadership Position 

We are partnering with an award winning independent actuarial consultancy firm for a Head of Life - Transactions to join their Financial Services team in London. This is a key actuarial leadership position.

Working with senior management, you will be leading a team for transaction projects in the risk and capital space, with a focus on insurance company mergers and acquisitions, capital optimisation, capital raising, alternative capital strategies, and group restructuring.

The ideal candidate will be Qualified Actuary/CERA or CFA with a background in Life Insurance or Consulting. Strong experience of leading the delivery of transaction projects for life insurance companies is essential. Financial reporting and regulatory background is desirable, as is practical experience of Solvency II Internal Models – with a particular focus on the capital optimisation.
