Milliman has announced the appointment of John Jenkins

Jenkins has 37 years of experience in the UK life insurance and financial services market. Until 2019 he spent 18 years as an equity principal at KPMG LLP.
Jenkin’s reputation and experience in the actuarial consulting field in the UK is expected to strengthen Milliman’s expertise in UK statutory roles and independent review, and generate new opportunities within the Life Insurance industry.
Jenkins role will focus on:
- Acting as senior adviser or independent expert for clients carrying out conversions or fund mergers in relation to with-profits business.
- Undertaking Chief Actuary and/or With-Profits Actuary roles.
- Advising clients on IFRS17 and Insurance Capital Standards –the two main current development areas in the UK as far as financial reporting and capital are concerned.
- Additional growth opportunities within the Life Insurance sector.
On his appointment Jenkins said:
