Job Details

Oliver James Associates are supporting a leading Life Insurer in the City to appoint a Group Risk Manager into their senior management team.

The Role

This role will enable you to engage with senior stakeholders within the Group's different business units, alongside supporting 2nd line risk reviews and project based work.

Reviews on; mortality, protection, annuities, general insurance, pricing risk, capital models.

Projects; climate change, data analytics, systems and technology.

The Person

The client would like to engage with candidates who have a strong analytic and statistical background, who can support them on specific projects and risk reviews within the Group.

  • 3 years experience minimum
  • Qualified to degree level in a statistical subject - ideally MSc qualified
  • Risk knowledge (flexible on the technicality of these risks(
  • Happy to see candidates with a diverse backgrounds, outside of Life Insurance
  • Will engage with candidates that are not a qualified Actuary
  • A candidate that has experience improving systems and technology
