Financial Planning and Development Actuary

A senior Actuarial role has arisen as the Planning and Development Actuary at a leading life insurer. You will be responsible for producing the forecasts for the financial plans for the business and will support the consolidation of the inputs from across the business. This role will heavily face off therefore with the heads of the Capital, Reporting, Pricing and Finance teams. You will drive and manage deliveries of these results and will also provide support to PRA and Ad Hoc queries from senior management. You will also provide more support to the Head of Planning on identifying and managing external regulatory, reporting and professional developments on the Actuarial Department. This is a role offering wide exposure to how the business hangs together and will be involved in significant stakeholder management (internally). This role is essentially acting as a de facto Deputy Head of the Planning and Developments team. You will be a Qualified Actuary with strong post qualified experience.
