Job Details
HFG are assisting a leading life insurer in their search for a Risk Pricing & Analytics Actuary. This is a new and exiting role within the Retail Protection team which targets qualified actuaries from either a GI or Life background.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the end-to-end delivery of assumption setting processes and data analytics
- Deliver robust pricing and reporting assumptions in line with stakeholders
- Conducting assumption settings and and experience investigations
- Support the improvement of reinsurance arrangements
- Assist the development of the Retail Protection Data Analytics team to interpret the results of the experience investigations to develop and refine the pricing and best estimate basis, by introducing new data analysis and modelling techniques.
- Use of data analytics to generate insight into the Retail Protection Business
Key Requirements
- Qualified Actuary (with some pricing experience)
- Good Knowledge on Retail Protection products
- Strong IT skills including Excel and SAS
- Modelling techniques - General Linea Model (GLM)
- Analytical and problem solving skills
