Divisional Actuary - London Market

Leading London Market (Re)Insurer looking to hire Senior Actuary in Divisional role. Successful candidate will be responsible for all actuarial disciplines, across a number of lines of business, across both Lloyd's / Company Paper, as well as UK and International territories.

Leading London Market (Re)Insurer looking to hire Senior Actuary in Divisional role. Successful candidate will be responsible for all actuarial disciplines, across a number of lines of business, across both Lloyd's / Company Paper, as well as UK and International territories.

The main areas of responsibility for this role are Pricing, Rating, Capital Modelling, Business Planning and Reserving. There is a particular focus on Pricing, but you will be expected to operate at a senior level across all areas.

You will report to the Chief Actuary and manage a small team of qualified / student actuaries.

You must be a qualified actuary and ideally you will have a minimum of ten years' experience (with over 5 years post qualified experience). Experience within London Market is also essential, and ideally this will be have gained within the Lloyd's market specifically.

These types of roles are exceptionally rare - the business is world class, the role is truly mixed with a strong commercial element, and it operates both in London and beyond.
