A new role which involves working as a part of a small (but growing) team providing an investment service to UK pension schemes that are both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution in nature. The work on offer is a real mix of monitoring investment performance, client reporting duties, investment research and providing support to the consultants. You will already have a working knowledge of the investment arena and a willingness to keep abreast of pertinent and current investment issues. My client is especially keen to develop its reporting systems. Applicants with experience of visual basic programming for Microsoft Office and/or the development of Access databases would be looked upon favourably, as would those with a detailed knowledge of Thomson Reuter DataStream.
