Ideally with a background in GI motor or Home pricing this role would suit candidates who have cleared half of the CT exams and looking to progress their career.
My client has grown from strength to strength since the re-brand in 2010 and is now looking to add a pricing analyst/actuary to the team.
The role will include-
*Assist in the production of actuarial and statistical pricing analysis of underwriting performance, for example Emblem analysis, rate book analysis and competitor analysis. This includes the interpretation and communication of suitable recommendations from the analysis.
*Assist in the production of bespoke and ad hoc actuarial and statistical pricing analysis. This includes the interpretation and communication of suitable recommendations from the analysis.
*Assist in maintaining and upgrading the existing actuarial and statistical models. Assist in the research, development and implementation of new actuarial and statistical models.
*Pro-active use of data available and wider insurance business awareness to support the underwriting and claim functions in identifying areas of interest.
