Our client has an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified non-life actuary to manage the annual internal model validation process for all syndicates.

In this diverse role, you will conduct the annual review of the Validation Policy and procedure, leading this process by engaging with various internal stakeholders including independent validators, the capital modelling team, and the wider business as necessary.

You will also liaise with the capital modelling team to understand the level of dependent validation that takes place when a model change occurs, and determine if further independent validation is required by the Risk Management Framework.

In addition, you will complete individual pricing cases to support underwriters' decision making (both open market risk and Binders) whilst supporting the underwriters on strategic initiatives (e.g. developing new products and account analysis).

With a good understanding of insurance/Lloyd’s Market alongside capital modelling, the successful candidate will have experience of external modelling tools (cat models, ESGs etc).

You will also possess previous experience in developing/conducting Internal Model validation, alongside excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Please contact us to discuss this vacancy or for an informal discussion regarding your career goals. We are very happy to perform bespoke research on your behalf.
