IFRS Reporting Actuary
Fairbank Partners are currently assisting a UK life insurer with their search for a Reporting Actuary.
The purpose of this role is to assist in the production of reports, with a focus upon IFRS reporting. Further responsibilities include:
- Supporting the integration of IFRS 17.
- Supporting local statutory reporting, and economical capital calculations.
- Development of the reporting processes for improved efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a Nearly or Newly Qualified actuary, with previous experience within the Reporting team of a UK Life insurer. A knowledge of EV, Economic Capital and SII is required, as well as IFRS. Knowledge of IFRS 17 pre-implementation is advantageous, as is previous experience managing junior colleagues.
