Seeking a talented data and systems analyst with extensive and demonstrable SQL experience to take ownership of the provision of data to a GI actuarial team, undertaking data governance work to ensure data is of the appropriate quality.

Working with the actuarial team, you will design and implement a SQL database that will act as a repository for actuarial data, assumptions and calculation model result sets. 

You will take ownership of the deployment of analysis tools (e.g. business information tools reporting against the database) whilst developing reporting functionality (including data visualisation for example) for the department, leveraging the SQL database and reporting tools.

You will also develop new tools and improve existing tools (for example current Access and Excel-based processes).

The successful candidate will possess reporting tools experience such as MS Power BI and other analytical tools; to include deployment, building of reports and acting as a subject matter expert to other users.

Strong Experience of MS Excel and Access is also essential, whilst some experience of R and/or Python packages is desirable.
